Our Story

 

Throttlesnake, the crossing between throttle and rattlesnake. Both sharing the same territory, endless and relentless roads. Moves fast, stays low, leaving just a fulminating throttling sound behind it and before you realize, the petrol poison has already molten with your blood. You are one of us now, welcome to the family.

Throttlesnake is a motorcycle apparel European brand born in Hamburg, Germany. We design every piece in-house, giving special protagonism to high-quality raw materials. All of our products are handmade and therefore some irregularities in the leather are part of the product's charm, the smell and feel of the materials are playing the main role. Leather gloves, shoe protectors, or glove holders made in bovine, buffalo or goat leather and often stitched with Dupont Kevlar to maximize its strength against abrasion, little details that make the difference in between "some gloves" and "THE gloves"!! 

We are also proud of having designed our super resistant ARMADILLO HIDE jacket, with very cool outer layers made with 600D Polyester against abrasion, a full inner layer of Dupont Kevlar 220GSM and pockets with CE protections in back, shoulders and elbows. 

When it comes to the T-Shirts and embroidered jackets we have a collaboration with a different Tattoo Artist every year. This artist creates the illustrations for Throttlesnake's yearly collection. This year we are happy to launch our brand with Clemens Hahn, the owner of "Electric Circus", Harley Davidson rider and whiskey sour lover.
